~What is the Aoi Festival?~
The Aoi Festival, an elegant procession that lights up Kyoto in the refreshing early summer, is said to have begun about 1,500 years ago.
This is the annual festival of Kamomioya Shrine (Shimogamo Shrine) and Kamo Wakeikazuchi Shrine (Kamigamo Shrine).
Paid seating is available, so you can enjoy the show at your leisure.
*If the Aoi Festival is postponed, the itinerary will be changed. In that case, some meal conditions may change.
