Both are under 100 metres long, but Sumatakyo Gorge has around 300 stone steps, and Oku-Oi Kojo Station has a mountain path (downhill).
<Walking time>
It takes about 90 minutes Sumatakyo Gorge trip from the Sumatakyo Gorge lot to Oku-Oi Kojo Station, and about 40 minutes from the observation deck to Okuoikojo Station. The road is unpaved and there are some places where tree roots are exposed.

【服装・靴・荷物について】
寸又峡・奥大井湖上駅は一部舗装されていない山道・石段を歩きます。特に寸又峡は途中約300段の石段を上がります。そのため動きやすい服装・歩きなれた運動靴でご参加ください。また、歩く際の荷物は両手が空くリュックサックをおすすめします。
※散策に不要な荷物はバスやホテルに置いておくことはできます。
＜歩行時間＞
駐車場から寸又峡の往復で約90分、奥大井湖上駅が展望台から駅まで約40分、舗装されていない道かつ一部木の根っこが出ている場所があります。
【奥大井】
奥大井の展望台から奥大井湖上駅までは徒歩での移動のみ(バス・乗用車は通行不可)。千頭駅まで回送するバスと一緒に移動することも可能ですが、その場合には大井川鐵道には乗れません。
【寸又峡】
寸又峡の夢の吊り橋は渡ってしまうとUターンはできません。渡り切った先は急な登り坂と304段の階段があります。つり橋手前の分岐点で一度ツアーを離れ、飛龍橋から夢のつり橋とエメラルドグリーンの川の景色をご覧いただけくことも可能です。
【大井川鐵道「南アルプスあぷとライン」について】
大井川鐵道「南アルプスあぷとライン」ですが、全席自由席となります。相席になる場合や混雑状況によっては立ち席でのご案内となる場合があります。
