★Tsunagi Onsen
In the late Heian period (1058-65), when Minamoto no Yoshie attacked Abe no Sadatō (the Former Nine Years' War), he set up his headquarters at "Yunoyakata" (now Iwate at the foot of a mountain south of Tsunagari Onsen, Morioka City, Prefecture). It is said that Yoshie also tied his horse to a stone with a hole in it and bathed in it, hence the name Tsunagi-onsen.
The water at our facility has a pH value of 9.1, making it highly alkaline. Generally, the higher the pH value, the more slimy the water is, and the greater the cleansing effect. It leaves your skin smooth, making it especially recommended for women. The spring quality is also effective in relieving stress and recovering from fatigue.
