Paradise above the clouds [Gassan/Midagahara Marshland]
At the Midagahara Marsh, located at the eighth station of Mt. Gassan, you can enjoy refreshing scenery, pretty flowers and magnificent views from the boardwalk.
It is possible to drive up to the eighth station, making it popular because it is relatively easy to view the many alpine plants that can be seen there.

A mysterious place that opens on July 1st every year and can be visited for a limited time until early October.
◆A fascinating marshland stretching out at an altitude of 1,400m
◆Alpine plants also bloom one after another depending on the season.

Moss and beech forest [Mount Chokai, King Agariko]
This mysterious place is said to have taken more than 80 years for the meltwater from Mt. Chokai to spring forth.
The highlight is"King Agariko"The trunk circumference of this deformed beech is 7.26 metres, making it the thickest in Japan.
The name "Agariko" comes from the shape of the trunk, which splits into two at the top.
It has been designated as one of the "100 Forest Giants."
