Komyo-ji Temple is the head temple of the Nishiyama Jodo sect, located at the foot of Nishiyama in Nagaoka City. It is known as the "Maple Temple."
In autumn, 600 maple trees paint the entire mountain red and gold, creating a spectacular autumn foliage scene that looks like a scene from a movie.
Among them, the "Momiji Sando" offers three thrilling experiences as you look up, look down, and turn around.
This tour is reserved exclusively for Club Tourism customers before the general public opening. Enjoy the autumn leaves in the clear morning air.

9. Eikando Temple
With approximately 3,000 beautiful maple trees, it is one of Kyoto's most famous spots for viewing autumn leaves, and is known as the "Eikan-do of Maples."

● Tanzan Shrine (Tanzanjinja) ・・・About a 5-minute walk from P.
There are 140 stone steps leading up from the large torii gate, and stairs when you go to see the main hall.
There are stairs and slopes (be careful as the stairs are steep).
【2日目】
● Kasuga Taisha Shrine: Approximately 10 minutes from the parking lot to the main hall.
● Ohara ・Sanzenin: 15 minutes walk uphill from the large parking lot.
【3日目】
● Komyoji Temple... The bus stops in front of the gate. There are gentle stairs.
●Arashiyama
It will be free to act. The bus is parked at the restaurant Arashiyama scheduled. Take a walk to each temple and shrine.
~For reference~
Tenryu-ji Temple: Admission fee 500 yen; 10-minute walk from the bus stop. There are some steps within the temple grounds.
Nonomiya Shrine: Free entry to the grounds; a little over 15 minutes from the bus parking lot via the bamboo grove path.
On the day of the tour, the tour guide will distribute maps, and everyone will explore on their own.
