◆弘前公園（青森）　

春になると約2,600本の桜が一面に咲き誇り、西堀では桜がトンネルのように頭上を覆います。水鏡に映った満開の桜は幻想的な美しさで見るものを魅了し、さらに終盤になると舞い散る花びらがピンクの絨毯となって水面を漂い、弘前の春を色鮮やかに染め上げます。

◆角館（秋田）　

みちのくの小京都と称され、今もなお武家屋敷が立ち並ぶ通りには佐竹氏の妻が嫁入り道具として持ち込んだシダレザクラが辺り一面に咲き誇っています。

角館は比較的混雑の少ない朝一番にご案内！武家屋敷の街を人力車[乗車時間：約20分]に乗って異なる目線から桜観賞をお楽しみください。

◆北上展勝地（岩手）

悠然と流れる北上川の河畔にある北上展勝地は東北有数の桜の名所として知られ「みちのく三大桜」に数えられています。

珊瑚橋から2キロにわたる桜並木の他にも約150種の様々な桜が展勝地公園内293haには約1万本もあると言われ、4月中旬ごろに咲き始めるソメイヨシノから5月上旬のカスミザクラまで美しさを競います。

「展勝地」という名前の由来は、沢藤氏の親友風見章氏（後の司法相）が事業団体の名称を展勝会と命名したことと陣ヶ丘からの眺めが素晴らしいところから、展望のきいた名勝・景勝の地という意味で名づけられました。
