At its peak it was an overcrowded city. It closed in 1974 and is now in ruins.

*For safety reasons, children under the age of 3 are not permitted on the Gunkanjima Cruise.
Therefore, we do not accept applications from preschool children.
*If you are under 13 years old, you must sign a consent form and be accompanied by a guardian to participate in the supervision audit.

*The Gunkanjima landing Cruise may be subject to weather conditions, etc.
There is a possibility that: 1) it will not be possible to dock at Gunkanjima, or 2) Cruise itself will be canceled.
