Traditional "Theatrical Dance Iwami Kagura" tour charter viewing (Day 1)
Private viewing of Theatrical Dance Iwami Kagura, a traditional performing art tradition handed down in the Iwami region of western Shimane Prefecture.
It has developed uniquely in the Iwami region and is a powerful performing art that makes use of contemporary, renowned directing techniques.
Iwami Kagura often takes its subject matter from Japanese mythology, and the highly artistic, bold and gorgeous dances are a sight to behold.
* Kagura refers to songs and dances offered to the gods to pray for a bountiful harvest or a good catch of fish. * Japan Heritage is certified by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
*The performance will be held on the first night at the hotel's banquet stage, with chair seats (approximately 60 minutes)
