国定公園にも指定されている離島「甑島」。甑島は鹿児島県の西方の海上に浮かぶ列島です。

上甑島・中甑島・下甑島の有人3島と多数の無人島からなり、温暖な気候に包まれ、

豊かな自然と海産物にめぐまれています。

2020年8月には下甑島と中甑島を結ぶ「甑大橋」が開通し、甑島列島がひとつになりました。
