This course allows you midway ride.
*If you board midway ride, please purchase your admission ticket at the boarding station.

[About the tour]
■ Day 1 From the bus drop-off point to the hotel, you will need to carry your own luggage. Please keep your luggage as small as possible.
*Taisho Pond → Hotel...approximately 80 minutes on foot
* Bus terminal → Hotel... Approx. 5 minutes walk
■ After checking out Day 2, you can leave your luggage at the hotel front desk until you depart Kamikochi.
■If tourist bus restrictions apply in Kamikochi, you may need to transfer to a local bus for some sections.
This may be a joint event with other course plans that include accommodation at other Accommodation.

[About Mini Hiking]
This course is considered a "Mini Hiking" by our standards.
The walking time is limited to 2 hours, the distance is limited to 5km, and the elevation difference is less than 100m on unpaved roads.
Please refer to the following and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.

<Clothing>
Clothing: Windbreakers and other cold weather gear, and loose, stretchy pants that are easy to move in.
What to bring: A backpack with enough space for both hands, and a raincoat instead of an umbrella. A hat and sunglasses are also useful.
● Shoes: Hiking shoes (trekking shoes or light mountain climbing shoes) are best
●We recommend carrying a bear bell.

< Mini Hiking area>
Kappa Bridge to Taisho Pond (one way, 3.5km walk / 70 minutes walking time)
Kappa Bridge to Myojin Pond (round trip 5km / walking time 120 minutes)
*You can go Mini Hiking anywhere you like between Taisho Pond and Myojin Pond. You cannot go further than that (to Mt. Yakedake, Tokusawa, etc.).

Western-style room (twin) [with toilet, no bath]
*There is no bath in the room, so please use the large public bath.
*There is no elevator in the building
*Western-style rooms do not have televisions. (Japanese-style rooms have televisions.)

[Travel precautions]
*The round-trip transportation and Accommodation details will be provided in the "Travel Guide (Departure Information)" which will be sent to you approximately 5 days prior to the departure date.
*Please leave seat allocations for transportation (bus, plane, train, Other) and room allocations for Accommodation to our discretion. Please refrain from reclining bus seats.
*Please note that even if you apply for train seats for two or more people, the seats may not be next to each other or may be far apart.
*This tour is also available for sale to foreigners. If foreign passengers are on board, some of the tour may be conducted in a foreign language, but a guide-interpreter will not accompany the passenger.

[Travel fees for infants]
For customers aged 3 to 6 (preschool children), due to the Travel Agency Act and safety management, we will provide bus seats for the duration of the trip, for which an additional fee will be charged (taxis and free hotel shuttle buses do not provide seats). However, train seats, Meals, and bedding at Accommodation will not be provided during the trip. If you would like to provide a seat, please make a reservation as a "child."

[Infant reception]
If you are bringing a child under the age of three, please apply using this dedicated form or through our call center.

For Tokaido, Sanyo, Kyushu, and Nishi-Kyushu Shinkansen trains, from May 20, 2020 onwards, if you wish to bring on board luggage whose three sides exceed 160 cm in total (hereinafter referred to as "oversized luggage"), you must reserve a seat with an oversized luggage area in advance, so please be sure to request this when applying for your trip (there is no reservation fee, but the number of seats is limited). Even if you contact us at the last minute, we may not be able to make arrangements. Even if we are able to make a reservation, you may be separated from other passengers in the car and seat. Please note that luggage whose three sides exceed 250 cm in total cannot be brought on board. If you bring on "oversized luggage" without making a reservation in advance, you will need to pay a handling fee (1,000 yen including tax) on board, so please divide your luggage into smaller pieces as much as possible.
